Dear Mr. Premack: I am recently widowed and have just finished probating my husband’s Will. I understand that I am the owner of all our bank accounts now. I want to keep the accounts set up, so it is clear I am the only owner. I fear asking my son to be a co-signer as he has a poor driving record and if he causes an accident, it may put my accounts at risk.
