Paul Premack,
JD, CELA
Paul Premack is married to Ruthie S.
Premack, and they have two grown
children. Paul earned his BA from the
University of Texas at Austin with high honors in 1979, and his Doctor of
Jurisprudence from the University of Houston College of Law in 1982. While
in law school, Paul was an Editor of the Houston Journal of International
Law. Paul began practicing law in 1982.
Paul is a Certified
Elder Law Attorney through the National Elder Law Foundation. (What does

He is a founding member of the Council of Advanced Practitioners of the
National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
Paul has, since 1989, written a weekly column for the San Antonio
Express-News on legal matters of concern to the Senior community. He is
also the author of "The Senior Texan Legal Guide," now in
Edition 5.0. Paul is certified
as a Geriatric Scholar by the University of Texas Health Science
Center in San Antonio.
He is a member of the National and Texas Chapter of the
National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and was on the Board of Directors
(2000-2005) and was Secretary of the Texas Chapter
(2005). Paul is a member of the State Bar of Texas,
the San Antonio Bar Association, and is a Life
Fellow of the
San Antonio Bar Foundation and is a member of the
College of the State Bar of Texas and of the Real Estate, Probate and
Trust Law section of the State Bar of Texas.
Paul has spoken to such diverse groups as SW Bell, Santa
Rosa Hospital, the VA, the National Association of Retired Federal
Employees, the Texas Joint Conference on Aging, the Texas Department of
Human Services, Adult Protective Services, the State Bar of Texas, the Federal Bar Association,
various AARP chapters, the Attorney General's Fraud Conference, the
University of Texas Health Science Center Teleconference Network, ROOTS, South
Texas College of Law and the University of Texas School of Law. |
