Policy on Canceling appointments

We have a simple policy regarding canceling an existing appointment.

We ask that when you make an appointment with us, you simply keep that appointment. We are not like a doctor's office that schedules many patients at the same time. Your appointment time is set aside for you and no one else has that same time. If you need to cancel, regardless of cause, there is no penalty and no fee.*

We hope that you will reschedule your appointment.

However, if you have cancelled or missed your appointment and call us to reschedule, we will ask for your credit card or a check to guarantee the second appointment. If you cancel or miss the second appointment, your credit card will be billed for the missed appointment.

(*except when the appointment was specifically made for the signing of documents and you have signed a separate limited engagement agreement that specifies different terms).
